Why are you a Republican?
The Republican party is the most comfortable fit for my political philosophies. Growing up in an American Mexican household (we're Americans first) conservatism has always been a natural part of my life. The Republican party's core conservative beliefs of self-reliance, academic advancement, minimum government and taxes are real. Republicans have a proven record of encouraging an atmosphere of opportunity for financial prosperity in its support of businesses, small to massive - a necessary stimulant for the success of capitalism. It is pre-dominantly pro-life and dedicated to the preservation of the family. It is the party of Lincoln who bravely faced a changing world in some of our darkest hours as a nation.
Why are you a member of ALRA?
ALRA provides an essential key to further the Republican party's political success in Arizona, a state with a rapid Latino population growth. It is important to communicate to Arizona's Latino community that there is another choice in the selection of political philosophies. The Latino vote is a crucial part of America's future and has the potential to play an extremely dynamic role. Americans have a responsibility to protect and keep our country a Republican Democracy and being an active member of ALRA is another avenue to ensure this.
